Thanksgiving in the Fairmont's Colonnade
Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is offering a lavish buffet Thanksgiving Dinner in the renowned Colonnade on Thursday, November 27.
Served from 1 to 3pm, holiday dining in the Colonnade has become a tradition for Washingtonians for 40 years.
Filled with greenery and bathed in natural sunlight, with soaring ceilings, glass walls and crystal chandeliers, the Colonnade offers the perfect backdrop for the festive dining experience. An electric violinist will provide soothing background music.
Executive Chef Jaime Montes de Oca and his culinary team will carve Joyce Farms Heritage Turkey and serve with cornbread stuffing, herb whipped potatoes, giblet gravy and cranberry-orange jam. A variety of regional favorites will be artfully presented in buffet stations throughout the Colonnade including; seasonal salads, Chesapeake raw bar, cheese & charcuterie board, soy marinated salmon, petite beef medallions and more. A children’s buffet offers breaded chicken tenders, beef sliders, macaroni & cheese, steamed vegetables and tater tots.
Save room for Executive Pastry Lyndsay Barton’s decadent patisserie buffet featuring; roasted hazelnut truffle, bourbon pecan tart, peanut butte cheesecake, pumpkin meringue tart, Fairmont rooftop honey poached pear tart and pumpkin panna cotta.
Thanksgiving Dinner is served from 1pm to 3pm on Thursday, November 27. Priced at $169 per person, $39 for children five to 12 years old and free for children 4 years and under. Complimentary coat check, valet parking, soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea are included. A bar will be available for purchasing cocktails, Beer and wine. An electric violinist will provide soothing musical entertainment. Tax and gratuity are not included.
